Which digital assets need updates during an active reputation event?

In brief

During an event, the priority assets are those people use to understand current facts or obtain practical help. Updating every corporate page is not a useful objective.

A source map should identify the authoritative event explanation, relevant leadership and product pages, customer or employee resources, and prominent profiles containing affected facts. A specific ownership error, obsolete status, and missing remedy each call for different updates. Historical records can remain accurate if their dates and context are clear.

Changes should be tied to verified developments and maintained by accountable owners. An update can fail when a linked document or derivative profile continues contradicting it. Monitoring then tests the research experience that exposed the problem, including whether search and AI still present obsolete facts. Publication is an action; accurate audience understanding is the intended result.
