What if a negative narrative reflects an issue that is still unresolved?
In brief
If the underlying issue remains unresolved, the public account should explain the current facts and response without claiming completion. Better information can reduce error while the substantive concern still requires action.
Classify each part of the public narrative by its factual status: wrong, incomplete, accurate, or requiring further investigation. Resolve a real service problem operationally and correct exaggerated allegations with specific evidence. Track those actions separately and answer the audience's concern directly.
Connect verified actions with their scope, dates, and remaining work. Give customers and other affected audiences an accessible reference for evaluating progress. Check subsequent search and AI answers for obsolete status and unsupported conclusions. Track factual accuracy, practical information, and evidence of trust as distinct outcomes.
