How can a changed business update an outdated public identity?

In brief

A transformed business needs accessible evidence of what it does now and a clear connection to its earlier identity. An operational change can be real while the most discoverable account still describes the old organization.

Map obsolete offers, names, ownership, leadership, and category descriptions across current pages and influential sources. Correct live profiles that describe an old service as current, and give accurate historical material a clear present-day reference. Compare former and current customer groups and delivery models, and explain obligations remaining to existing customers. Date historical case studies and identify the offer they describe.

Asset work should answer specific current questions: what changed, when, why it matters to the audience, and which capabilities are established. Announced ambitions must remain distinct from delivered services. Retesting name and category searches can show whether the old description persists. A new logo or a larger content volume does not by itself explain the transformation.
