Why might AI fail to recognize a newly launched offering?
In brief
Check whether the public record still describes the previous business, whether the launch announcement clearly establishes suitability, and whether older profiles conflict with it. Compare those records with the generated answer to locate the outdated information and the pages requiring an update.
The useful public account explains what the offering does, who can use it, when and where it is available, and how it relates to existing products. A missing capability is easier to diagnose when the relevant facts are explicit. Publishing several promotional announcements without those details can increase volume while leaving the underlying ambiguity intact.
Check that the launch page is reachable and eligible for indexing along the intended discovery route. Request recrawling of updated pages, then inspect indexing and the answers that use them. Update external profiles that still describe the old offering as the whole company. Repeated tests distinguish recognition, accurate explanation, and suitable recommendation. Check status information for the opposite lifecycle problem as well: a discontinued offering described as current.
