What makes partner descriptions of a brand accurate and useful?

In brief

Identify the current relationship, the relevant capability, and each partner's responsibilities. Describe endorsements and shared responsibility only within the documented scope of the agreement and offer.

The assessment checks whether the partnership remains active, which market or product it covers, and whether the description has been carried forward from an earlier arrangement. A former reseller page can otherwise look like a current authorization, or a broad logo placement can imply a deeper relationship than exists.

Corrections follow the partner’s publishing process and use verified facts. A factual request should not ask the partner to add an unsupported recommendation. Claims of certification, approval, or exclusive status need the exact scope and current evidence.

Accurate partner information can corroborate a specific relationship and make the business easier to understand. It should remain identifiable as a partner’s perspective, rather than being passed off as wholly independent editorial assessment.
