What editorial checks make ORM content a dependable source?
In brief
Dependable reputation content makes important claims supportable, current, and useful. Correct grammar cannot repair a misleading explanation or missing evidence.
Check each consequential statement against its original source, entity, scope, date, and reasonable meaning. Objective product claims need appropriate support. A quotation must represent what was said; an observation about one location should not quietly become a company-wide conclusion.
The substantive edit asks which uncertainty the passage resolves and which details establish the answer. Remove circular definitions, repeated setup, and broad claims of trust or expertise that add no evidence. Keep specific limits where they change the meaning.
Before publication, verify links, names, dates, headings, and relationships with existing pages. The content should work as a standalone reference and have an owner who can update it when the underlying facts change.
